تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ
Tabarakalladhi bi yadihil mulk
Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent. (Quran 67:1)Surah Al-Mulk is recited nightly for protection from the punishment of the grave. It is the Surah of sovereignty — the reminder that true dominion belongs only to Ar-Rahman.The Kingdom of Ar-Rahman is built upon this verse. We do not seek power from men, but authority from the One who holds the Mulk in His hand. This is why the lion carries the verse, and why the 9th is prepared.
